Zanzibar may be part of Tanzania, but politically, it plays by its own rules. The semi-autonomous island is gearing up for the Tanzania General Election on Wednesday, 29th October. Voters will choose between Hussein Mwinyi of the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and Othman Masoud of the opposition ACT Wazalendo.
