Gunnels going on. Sometimes, designs don’t go to plan. We opted to keep the sides as wide as possible before transitioning to the bow. In turn, this created too large of a radius for the gunnel extrusion to be formed against. Pie cutting was the only way to make it fit. Not our favorite way to do it, but sometimes you have to roll with the punches. In hindsight, there’s a reason you see boat builders use a gentle arc from transom to bow, often with a tapered bottom the entire way. #pinnacleboatc
