"This is my super 8 footage from Bathurst 1977. I was a flag marshal at Amaroo park and Bathurst from 1975 to 1979. The best era of motor sport in my opinion . Our flag point in 1977 was the last one on conrod straight. This is before the chase was put in and conrod was a straight road. I still remember the faster Fords and Holdens had there front wheels off the ground on the last hump and I was hoping our 3 little pieces or armco protecting our flag point would hold out if hit by a run away car
