The RCMP Musical Ride was performed Saturday and Sunday in Whitehorse. The show has roots dating back to the 1870s. In those days, mounted police officers were still trained in cavalry techniques such as using spears. The ride features 32 horses and officers in Red Serge. This year the musical ride was brought coast to coast as part of Canada 150. In a rare occurrence it's next headed to Skagway, Alaska. | CBC Yukon
