may is bpd awareness month and it’s so important to shed light on quiet bpd. this subtype of borderline personality disorder is often overlooked because it’s internalized. instead of explosive anger, there’s silent suffering. instead of outward chaos, there’s people pleasing, masking, and self blame. there are 4 unofficial bpd subtypes. while not medically recognized, they help categorize common symptom patterns. the subtypes consist of : quiet, petulant, impulsive, and self destructive types. m
