Today finds us metal detecting on a very cold water creek that is fed by massive limestone springs. This kayak trip has it all. A flooded creek, tree jams from a recent tornado, wasps attacking, almost drowning, and Mike's first flip and leg pin in the churning waters. I have to take some responsibility for Mike's woes because apparently there was a wasp nest in the kayak I loaned Mike for the trip.
