Francesco Libetta playing Les Sylvains, Op. 60 by Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944). Chaminade was a French composer who wrote more than 400 works, half of which are piano pieces. The title refers to the Roman God of forests (Silvanus), not too far from the Faun. In Chaminade’s mythological bestiary, there is not only one sulvan but multiple ones.
