Ring-necked snakes are one of our smaller snake species, only reaching 10-14 inches in length. These small, secretive snakes can be found in varying mixed forests and clearings throughout southern and central Maine but are quite challenging to spot in the wild thanks to their size and camouflage. This snake was transfered to us for over-winter care with sign
