Here’s my dad Hoyt Axton & Ringo Starr singing “The No No Song” on “The Hoyt Axton Country Western Boogie Woogie Gospel Rock and Roll Show” in 1975. The show was an hour long TV special that aired on NBC. It featured him as well as special guests Ringo Starr, Linda Ronstadt, & Arlo Guthrie. “The No No Song” was a tune written by my dad & then recorded & released by Ringo on his 1974 album ‘Goodnight Vienna.’ It was his 7th top 10 hit, reaching #3 on the US Billboard charts. #hoytaxton #mattaxton

Here’s my dad Hoyt Axton playing “Wild Bull Rider” in Orlando, FL in 1988. The performance was taped for a TV show called “Church Street Station.” My mom Donna Roberts Axton is on piano. This song came out in 1979 on his album ‘A Rusty Old Halo’ which also featured the songs “A Rusty Old Halo”, “Della & the Dealer”, & “Evangelina.” My mom’s piano playing is featured on the album as well.
