Over the weekend, a family in the Cayo District received the fright of their lives when a butane tank fell and started a fire. On Sunday afternoon, a concrete structure in Calla Creek Village went up in flames. Authorities say that the flames broke out after a raptured butane line led to a gas leak. Belize City Station Officer Kenneth Mortis explained that the residents of the community banded together and were able to extinguish the fire before it consumed the entire home. #Belize #BenqueViejo
