Restored prairie supports monarch butterfly conservation A large restored prairie south of Rolla hosted a group of volunteers on Sept. 13 who briefly and gently caught monarch butterflies to place a small sticker on the their’ wings. The effort is part of an international initiative to better understand population and migration of the monarch butterflies in hopes of helping save the species.
