Zendaya and Tom Holland are back to being coworkers again after filming began for Spider-Man: Brand New Day this month. The fourth installment of the Holland-led Spider-Man franchise comes nearly five years after the last film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Spider-Man star Tom Holland has been spotted filming a scene set in a graveyard for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with Zendaya also in attendance. The scene looks to pick up from the end of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Peter Parker mourns his late aunt. A gravestone spotted in set photos is labelled "May Parker".

The suit worn by Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day honors the legacy of the previous actors who portrayed the superhero: Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. This is reflected in the costume design, as it carries visual references from both of the costumes donned by these actors.
