An internet trend has emerged among conservative voters claiming that they will travel to California to illegally cast a vote for Spencer Pratt, the former reality TV star, in the upcoming Los Angeles mayoral race.
Pratt raised roughly $2.7 million between April 19 and May 15. He now has roughly $3.28 million to spend with less than two weeks until the June 2 primary. Pratt’s campaign reported 8,490 contributions during the latest reporting period, including 328 donors who gave the maximum $1,800 allowed under city rules.
Pratt, whose home burned in the Palisades fire, has said he is living at the hotel because of threats he has received.
