Next First Alert: The forecast for next week finally shows some extended relief from the heat. We’ll see highs near 90° through Monday - but then a cold front drops through Michiana, bringing highs in the low to mid-80s starting Wednesday. A couple of highs in the 70s in the late 10-day forecast.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Showers and thunderstorms rolled through the area in association with a surface disturbance on Friday, putting down some good rainfall in portions of the area. The higher amounts ended up being south of I-94. Here at the station, we picked up 0.02″ of rain.
