The Dodgers recalled left-hander Justin Wrobleski to start in Friday's series opener on the road against the Cardinals.

Michael Conforto had a go-ahead RBI single to cap a three-run eighth inning, and the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied to earn a 6-5 victory over the visiting New York Mets in the final game this season between 2024 National League Championship Series foes.

Reed Garrett, one of the Mets' most dependable relievers, gave up three runs in the eighth inning of a 6-5 loss to the Dodgers on Thursday.
