Deadline reports Akiva Goldsman has been hired to develop “a new Universe at Legendary Television” based on the TV series’ of Irwin Allen, beginning with Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants and The Time Tunnel.

Dario Scardapane (who worked on the Netflix ' Punisher ' series) is running the new ‘Daredevil’ show with ‘ Moon Knight ’ and ‘ Loki ’ Season 2 directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team.

Bernthal’s Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher, who returns as the character in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, headlines the Marvel special, which is said to be in the vein of Werewolf by Night or The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, according to EW, which first reported the news.
