The department is waiting to hear back from the Texas Department of Emergency Management to see if they need to respond. If they get orders the firefighters will have to be ready within two hours.
It will be cold tonight as skies clear, but we should be a bit warmer this weekend with highs in the 50s both Saturday and Sunday.
