Retired French soccer star Patrice Evra isn't quite done kicking, only now he'll try his hand at kicking a person instead of a ball. The PFL announced Friday that it has signed Evra, who is set to try his hand at mixed martial arts at PFL Europe Paris on May 23 from Accor Arena.

Evra, the former captain for both Manchester United and the France national team, on Friday inked a deal with PFL to make his MMA debut at a PFL Europe event on May 23 at Paris' Accor Arena. Evra is expected to compete in a welterweight showcase bout against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
