Metallica’s show is the latest in several music experiences Apple has developed for its Vision Pro line, having also made experiences with Alicia Keys, Raye and The Weeknd. In Metallica’s case, the full concert is about 25 minutes, taking fans through three tracks: “Whiplash,” “One” and “Enter Sandman.”

The Vision Pro is officially set to receive another “immersive experience” – this time from Metallica, which filmed the work at a Mexico City concert last year. Apple disclosed Metallica’s namesake Vision Pro release (plus different projects for the high-end headset) in a brief announcement.

Set to premiere this Friday (14 March), fans will be able to watch for free on Apple Vision Pro. The concert was filmed during the band’s final M72 show of 2024 in Mexico City and features performances of hits including Enter Sandman, One, and Whiplash, among others.
