Geoff Ogilvy of Australia takes over as International captain of the Presidents Cup for 2026 at Medinah with a unique distinction from the previous eight captains. He can claim home-course advantage while trying to lead his team to victory on the road.

Snedeker will lead the U.S. team for the first time next year at Medinah Country Club’s No. 3 course outside of Chicago while Ogilvy takes the reins of the International side for his first captaincy.

The 16th edition of the Presidents Cup will be held at Medinah Country Club's Course #3 from Sept. 22-27, 2026. The United States has won 10 straight Presidents Cups; the two teams tied in 2003, and the International side's lone victory came in 1998.
