Legislators representing Esparto want to “tighten up” California licensing laws and oversight in response to the deadly fireworks explosion.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) announced Tuesday that it has suspended the pyrotechnic licenses of two people tied to the deadly fireworks explosion at a Northern California facility on July 1.

As part of the ongoing investigation into the cause of the Esparto Pyrotechnics facility explosion that left seven people dead, the California state marshal announced a suspension of licenses for two people connected to the business.
