James Cook returned to practice on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he agreed to a big-money extension. The Buffalo Bills and Cook agreed to terms on a four-year, $48 million extension, per NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

Bills running back James Cook has ended his contract standoff by signing a four-year deal, Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane said. Cook’s deal will pay him $48 million over the four years,
