A man has died after being shot in Richmond's Jackson Ward neighborhood late Friday night, according to authorities.

Margaret Anne Gibbs, longtime resident of Richmond, Virginia, passed away Feb. 14, 2026. Margaret was born in Greenfield, Indiana, on Feb. 19, 1938, to Paul (Buddy) Gibbs and Ruthanne Bragg Gibbs.

She was widely regarded within Commonwealth Pediatrics as a central figure in the practice, where she had served since 1999.
