Julia Reagan — the matriarch of a Utah outdoor advertising company who was memorialized on billboards across Salt Lake City last year — is now the subject of a wrongful death lawsuit.

The family of Julia Reagan, a woman publicly known from billboard tributes across several states, is suing University of Utah Health for negligence.

SALT LAKE CITY — A lawsuit filed last Friday by Utah businessman Bill Reagan accuses University of Utah Hospital of medical negligence that led to the death of his wife. His wife was Julia Reagan, who was memorialized on billboards across Utah.

It's been approximately seven months since Julia Reagan died, and billboards in tribute to her life remain posted along several busy Utah highways and streets.
