The iconic metal band have announced they are bringing their long-running tour to the UK and Ireland next summer.

Irish government minister Charlie McConalogue says the target is to have the service in place by end of next year.

Metallica have confirmed details of a huge stadium tour in the UK and Europe in 2026 which will visit cities such as London, Dublin, Cardiff and Frankfurt.
