Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard will join his All-NBA teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo on the 2025 NBA All-Star team this season as a reserve, the "Inside The NBA" hosts announced on TNT. As TNT's social team observes, Lillard has just made his second team in his two seasons with Milwaukee.
NBA All-Star rosters have been set. After last week's announcement of the 10 starters, Thursday brought us the 14 final selections, who will be classified as reserves at All-Star Weekend in San Francisco in February.
Wembanyama becomes only the fourth Spurs player to make the All-Star Game in his first or second season. The others: Alvin Robertson in 1986, David Robinson in 1990 and 1991, and Tim Duncan in 1998.
On Thursday night, Pistons guard Cade Cunningham earned the first All-Star selection of his career. The coaches voted him as a reserve for the Eastern Conference. Cunningham became the Pistons' first All-Star since Blake Griffin, in 2019.
