Two people were killed and six others were injured in a mass shooting at an after-party in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.

Two people were killed and six were injured at a warehouse party in downtown Los Angeles early Monday morning. According to the Associated Press, police arrived at the afterparty at 11 p.m. on Sunday to shut it down after officers spotted a person possibly armed with a gun enter a building in the area’s warehouse district.

Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Los Angeles that left two people dead and six others injured on Sunday night. The Los Angeles Police Department said the shooting took place down the street from a party near Paloma and 14th Streets,

Authorities say that during a call from a nearby church, the teen told police he had fatally shot his parents.
