Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel addresses whether Zach Sieler, Jonnu Smith, Jalen Ramsey will participate in mandatory minicamp.

The Miami Dolphins are one of 24 NFL teams that began their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. All-Pro corner Jalen Ramsey was absent as the team continues to shop the cornerback. This comes after general manager Chris Grier said in April that both sides agreed it would be best to potentially part ways.

The Dolphins keep trying to trade cornerback Jalen Ramsey. The availability of a younger and arguably better player as a free agent could make that task harder to accomplish. Former Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander is now available as a free agent. He can be signed without sending anything to his team.

Other established cornerbacks still unsigned include James Bradberry, Stephon Gilmore, Mike Hilton and C.J Henderson. The Dolphins have been linked to Hilton, the former Bengals slot corner, at different times this offseason, and he cannot be ruled out.
