The Americans took a second step toward their first Winter Olympics gold medal since 1980 with a 6-3 victory over Group C rival Denmark at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan. Team USA continues its busy weekend on Sunday with a game against Germany, which lost to Latvia, 4-3, earlier Saturday.

The 2026 Winter Olympics, featuring 16 sports with 116 medal events, will take place from Feb. 4 to Feb. 22 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy. Preliminary events will begin on Feb. 4, the opening ceremony will be Feb.
