Winds are picking up across southeast Wyoming, bringing gusts up to 65 mph, with Cheyenne under a High Wind Warning starting tonight and snowy surprises expected for Laramie
Winds will likely still be light tomorrow, with 5-15 mph from the west possible for most. However, breezy conditions in northeastern WY, southwestern SD, and the Black Hills (including foothills) are expected in the afternoon. Gusts ranging from 30-40 mph are likely.
It will be breezy to windy on Monday ahead of a cold front that will bring rain, snow, and cooler temperatures.
Southeast Wyoming is bracing for a cool, wet period, with rain and snow expected to ease fire dangers in Cheyenne and Laramie. A cozy, chilly forecast is ahead.
Flood warnings persist for many of the creeks and streams around the region. A Flood Watch also remains in Wyoming, Livingston, and Ontario Counties through Thursday morning.
