Penn State wrestling’s Marcus Blaze claimed Big Ten freshman of the week honors. Blaze went 2-0 this week, helping to spark No. 1 Penn State to two straight shutout victories in less than 24 hours. Blaze began the weekend with a 19-4 (5:44) technical fall over Indiana's Blaine Frazer in a 48-0 win over the Hoosiers in Rec Hall Friday night.

The Buckeyes seem to be the only team that has a chance at challenging the Penn State Nittany Lions for the top spot in the Big Ten Conference. Ohio State has proven it can dominate against some of the best teams in the country, while showing grit against some strong in-conference competition.
