The Flyers have announced that Rick Tocchet will be the franchise's next head coach, after firing John Tortorella earlier in the year.
Rick Tocchet, who spent parts of 11 seasons with the Flyers as a player and is in the team's Hall of Fame, was named the 25th head coach in franchise history.
