A York County woman is accused of shooting another woman in York Monday night after an altercation while accidentally shooting herself. Terrie Deacon, 53, of Thomasville, allegedly shot another woman in the shoulder after the two got into an altercation in the 800 block of W.

Police have identified the individual who left an empty box on a York County doorstep and identified themselves in Ring camera footage as the "box demon".

Northern York County Regional Police announced they have identified the ‘Box Demon’ who approached a home in a creepy mask and costume and left a box at the front door. The department says officers have identified and spoken to the “Box Demon” and there are no public safety concerns.
