The 45-ton, 61-foot-long tilt section of track is the ride’s signature terrifying element. It teeters the coaster’s train into a 90-degree vertical position before locking into place and releasing riders onto the 2,966 feet of twisting track below.

The roller coaster debuted at the start of the theme park’s 2024 season, but after about a week it closed for the ride’s manufacturerto make mechanical modifications to the coaster’s vehicles. Cedar Point’s opening day this year is Saturday, May 3.
