McIlroy and Lowry are 22 under through 54 holes at TPC Louisiana, where they will have a shot at defending their Zurich Classic title on Sunday.

After getting stopped for a 90-minute weather delay, Lowry and partner Rory McIlroy finished off a 61 in style as the 2025 Masters champion rolled in an eagle putt. That put the duo at 22 under for the tournament and put them near the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry moved up 16 places on the leaderboard after the second round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
