Sudden floods triggered by heavy rains have killed more than 400 people across parts of Pakistan, India-administered Kashmir and Nepal, authorities have said, with scores of people still missing.

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) -More than 160 people were killed during heavy rain and flooding in northwestern Pakistan over the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday. A helicopter on a rescue mission in the flood-hit province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa crashed due to the bad weather, killing the five crew members.

At least 60 people have died, and over 100 are missing following heavy rain that caused floods and landslides in Indian Kashmir, authorities said.
