Pakistani authorities responded with massive counter-operations that left significant casualties on both sides. Pakistani security forces killed at least 145 fighters in the restive Balochistan province, a day after the attacks which left 31 civilians, including five women, and 17 security personnel dead.
Reacting to the claims, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a post on X that New Delhi outright rejects Pakistan's accusations, describing them as a familiar tactic to shift blame away from its governance failures.
