MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A man was seriously injured in a shooting in South Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department.

A man in critical condition was taken to Regional One after a shooting on Wednesday night. At 6 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the block of 1700 of McMillan Street. There is no suspect information at this time.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police say one person is in critical condition and another detained after a shooting in the 900 block of Walker Avenue in South Memphis, near Elmwood Cemetery. Police responded to the shooting at 1:43.

MPD officers responded to the shooting just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of College Park Drive near Walker Ave.

Three people were injured in a shooting on Park Avenue in Memphis, with two in critical condition and one in non-critical condition. Memphis Police have one person in custody and suggest the involved parties knew each other.

Police said at least 10 people were killed at a school on Tuesday, in what has been described as the worst mass shooting in Sweden’s history. The suspected perpetrator also died. The Kansas City Chiefs kicker offered a defiant take on his sexist and homophobic comments.
