The Seattle Mariners made some roster moves to create an open spot for Logan Gilbert when he makes his return to the major leagues.

Logan Gilbert, out since late April, is expected to start early next week when the Mariners host the Boston Red Sox for a three-game series.

All-Star had his best outing with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers as he continues to work his way back from a flexor strain.
