Four names have been removed from the lists of hurricane names maintained by the World Meteorological Organization.

The names Brianna, Holly and Miguel will replace Beryl, Helene and Milton on the Atlantic hurricane list, while Jake will replace John in the eastern Pacific. Names are retired when storms are so deadly or costly that reusing the name would be insensitive.
