ASUS unveils 2025 ROG laptops powered by RTX 50-Series GPUs
With CES coming to a close, there was a lot of new tech devices announced and that includes the 2025 lineup of ROG gaming laptops from ASUS, powered by the RTX 50-series GPUs that NVIDIA announced this week as well.
The Wait Is Over: Nvidia's Next-Gen RTX 50-Series GPUs Arrive at CES 2025
Blackwell has arrived. At CES on Monday night, Nvidia unveiled its long-awaited next generation of GeForce RTX graphics cards based on its latest Blackwell microarchitecture, and the race will soon begin by AI outfits training large language models and PC gamers alike to gobble up these new cards as soon as they are released.
Here’s How Much the New Nvidia RTX 50 Series GPUs Cost
The four GPUs in the lineup include the RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and the RTX 5090. They start off at just $549 and go up to $1999. For now, there is no information on the cheaper RTX 5060 models, but they can be expected to be somewhere in the $350 to $400 range.
New GeForce 50-series GPUs: There’s the $1,999 5090, and there’s everything else
The good news is that three of its four new RTX 50-series GPUs are the same price as or slightly cheaper than the RTX 40-series GPUs they're replacing. The RTX 5080 is $999, the same price as the RTX 4080 Super; the 5070 Ti and 5070 are launching for $749 and $549, each $50 less than the 4070 Ti Super and 4070 Super.
