Ayo Edebiri blamed Elon Musk for spreading fake reports that she would star in a sixth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie in February 2024, saying she faced 'some of the most insane death threats and racial slurs of my life' as a result.

According to Ayo Edebiri, she was just having “a silly goofy time” when reflecting on what she said was Elon Musk contributing to a lot of negativity aimed at her.

Ayo Edebiri revealed on her Instagram story that she got “insane death threats” because of Elon Musk. The X owner shared a fake report in February 2024 claiming Disney was considering Edebiri as a replacement for Johnny Depp in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise.
