Dallas Mavericks fans might want to look away. While fans are incredibly happy with Flagg and all of the possibilities he brings, Doncic was the franchise player who was beloved in Dallas, somehow rivaling even Dirk Nowitzki as the all-time face of the franchise.
The Dallas Mavericks have made some of the most interesting moves over the past few years, but it seems that not every player has enjoyed their time with the franchise. In 2024, the Mavericks made their first NBA Finals run since winning the title in 2011.
The Mavericks will be taking their training camp out of the United States leading up to the 2025-26 season. According to NBA insider Marc Stein, the franchise is expected to hold camp in Vancouver, Canada. If you don't have a map nearby or possess vast geographical knowledge, that's roughly a 33 hour drive from Dallas.

Frankly, when the Mavericks win a championship again one day, even if that's with Flagg on the roster, many still won't forgive him for what he did with Luka Doncic. Doncic was a fan favorite, and some Mavericks fans thought they could love him in the same way they loved Dirk Nowitzki.
