The Denver Broncos have hired former New Orleans Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi as their new special teams coordinator, a league source confirmed to The Athletic on Friday. Rizzi, 54, was a finalist for the Saints’ permanent head coach position before they hired former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore on Tuesday.

The Nittany Lions welcomed former Temple head coach Stan Drayton on Friday evening. ESPN’s Pete Thamel first reported the move earlier in the day.

Former Temple head football coach Stan Drayton reportedly will replace Ja’Juan Seider as Penn State running backs coach. Pete Thamel of ESPN reported Friday that the 53-year-old Drayton had signed a multi-year deal to join the Nittany Lions staff. Other outlets, though, reported that he will sign a one-year contract.

Three months after being fired as Temple's head coach, Drayton will replace former Penn State running backs coach Ja'Juan Seider, who departed for Notre Dame.
